This shot is from a series marking the border of Thanet. Once an island, Thanet is still entirely surrounded by water. The Thames Estuary to the North, the North Sea to the east, the Stour, a tidal river, to the South and the numerous drainage ditches that formed the River Wansum to the west.
This photograph is of the plains around the Stour at a spring tide. An idyllic location which I liken to a 21st century Hay Wain.
